Red = CNY!!

Today is the last day of college before we start celebrating the CNY... With some planning + coincidence with other classes, the college was filled people wearing red/pink colour shirts today!!

@.@

Gong Hei Fatt Choi!!

And it started to attract more people to join in...

And the funny part is, there were more and more people got into the picture after every snap... Eventually the whole class joined in even the lecturer, Miss Evelyn!! Will post the photos up once I got them, haha...

It was during the Maths class actually =P

Gentleman vs "Sui Yu" + Sudden Genting Trip

Just like another normal day, I went back home with Mei Zhen's car... Chit-chat around, and we came to this point...

Mei Zhen: Actually I realised no boy around me is "gentleman" lo...

*A lot of thoughts came into my mind suddenly*

Me: How only a man can be considered as a "gentleman"?

Eventually, we had a chat about it... And we even had a conflict because of the word "gentleman"... @.@

I realised "gentleman" is a kinda famous word in my class, this word usually came from the girls... *ahem* Ok, the moment I bring this topic up, maybe I'm already considered as "not gentleman" by someone... =/

Frankly speaking, I do not know what are the "characteristics" a gentleman should have, according to girls... To me, I picture gentleman having the following characteristics:
  • Polite
  • Patient
  • Always willing to offer help (when he has the ability to do it)

Rich men who can treat people makan or movie everyday are not considered as "gentlemen"!!
Well, at least to me, these do not make them a gentleman yet... =.="

Let's come to another word of the title today, the"sui yu"... In case you cannot get it, "sui yu" should be read in cantonese, direct translation should be "water fish".

Okok, "sui yu" is actually referring to the people who is asked to do something and he/she did it, though he/she might be unwilling to do so... And the he/she can be someone who is too kind, too soft to reject, or too stupid to accept all the jobs... Detailed explanation here is for my friends who don't understand cantonese..

The reason I put "sui yu" to be compared with gentleman is because I've seen some so called "gentlemen" really be treated as "sui yu"... It can be a situation like:
"Hey, can you help to carry my books or not?! Be gentleman a bit!!"
And the man who is already holding 3/4 thick books in hand said:
"Okok..."

It was a true incident which I've seen a few times...

My humble opinion: Do not judge, and do not FORCE someone to be the "gentleman" in your life.

Monday (12/01/2009):

This is the conversation when we're told that all the classes after 11am will be cancelled because of staff meeting...

"Eh, we go Genting lo..."

"Huh?!"

"Wah, sot meh..."

"Erm..."

"Let's go!!"

With 2 "Myvi"s which consist of 10 people, we drove up to Genting Highlands from our college!

It was not a planned trip, and many things were not checked... The cars were not checked, the petrol level was only checked on half way and we weren't really sure of the route... =.="

God bless, we reached there safely...

Sem 2 begins...

Woohoo~ In just a blink of an eye, I'm in the semester 2 of A Level already... @.@

So far, my test3 (the last test of sem1) results were bad... The so called "only holiday"- CNY that is coming up will not be as "free" as I thought because test4 is one week after the CNY holiday!

Financial wise, kinda regret that I didn't put in more effort for SPM... If I was able to score better in SPM, I'll not have to pay the full fees for my course right now... =.="

New semester, but many things remained... Only one lecturer had left my class, Melissa!! Gosh, I miss her notes... =P Seriously, her notes helped me a lot in scoring for Applied Maths... Not the 3rd test which I scored badly though, haha! For this second semester, in fact I'm more looking forward to new friends & TRUE friendships... =D

Anyway, finally I managed to snap a photo of him:

A physics lecturer in my college... He really look like my grandpa!
*credit to Aaron who took this photo for me* XD

Hmm, tomorrow will be the first day I'm wearing BB uniform as a Staff Sergeant! Let me end this post with a "cool" photo of myself when I was still a Corporal...

2009

Hmm, think I should upload some new year eve photos... Not many actually... I was at Choon Meng's house together with Tommy, JS, Feli and her friend...

Don't worry, it's a healthy night, I think... Since the alcohol percentage is low... =P

She had to do this because someone drawn a "power card" demanded her to do so...

That's how much we terminated

*burp*

As for yesterday, it was a real remarkable day to me...

Anyway, I really did not expect to receive it so early... Wonder why, I started cannot accept the truth... It seems so cruel... Most of the boys that I am close with was looking at me with a manner that seems do not know me at all... Maybe I should make this conclusion: One stripe = One wall between the boys and I...

And it's an official dream broken event... =/ As I'd skipped through the red sash to a blue sash...

While most of the people was having their countdown on the 31st of December 2008, I had a few "countdown"s in my mind too...
  • Countdown to the 2009... (happened)
  • Countdown to my days in the BB senior section/dream to be officially broken... (happened)
  • Countdown to college starts... (tomorrow)
  • Countdown to my birthday, which my 18 years old will be ending...
  • Countdown to the dates that my friends will be leaving to overseas...

Promotion to SSGT in BB means I'll have to leave the company's senior section, for a period which has no specific date to end it... I'll most likely be known as "officer", though it's not white uniform yet...

College starts, I'll have to start preparing the AS exam I think... I don't have much time left to play around as I'd wasted the whole holiday not studying... And for this 2009, the first half year I have to work hard for AS, and second half of the year will be facing A2... Syllabus goes very fast... According to YeohHS, CNY will be my last holiday, as other holidays will have to sit or prepare for exams... =O

Hope you're not expecting me to post out some new year resolutions for 2009 because I do not practice that... Perhaps I should consider myself a perfectionist... Most of the time, once I got myself started something, I'll work hard towards it until the end... Therefore, if I make resolutions, I'll be indirectly framing up myself...

Right... I guess it's really time for me to complete the Accounting assignment now...
