My Gang (1)

所谓。。“在家靠父母，出外靠朋友” XD

I used to have many gangs in my life... I'm ok being alone actually, but that would make my life very pathetic as you can imagine... Therefore, I tend to naturally "immerse" into gangs that are formed with the people around me...

Tadika =D

I can still remember that I already have a small gang when I was in tadika... Yea, tadika, so I've forgotten all the people... =P Let's skip it and go to primary school...

Handsome? Haha! To those who are curious with his name.... Right, he's a mix!! Chinese + Malay... Lost contact with him since form2, and met him again during my A-Level @TARC!! Still as smart as last time... Err no, should say he's getting smarter and smarter!! XD He has a very pretty girlfriend now, hiak hiak...

Kar Kit

Ha! He used to be very close with Firdaus during primary... It's because they're both good in BM & supporting the same football club - Manu!! Before we actually formed this gang, I was already quite close to him... And same thing like Firdaus, I met him again in TARC, haha!

Yuen Hoe

My best buddy during primary... We were very good friends even till now! A very good badminton player during primary (not sure about it now XD) Anyway, he's a very good futsal player now!! Represented his PLKN for futsal competition and got 2nd placing... Not easy, people...

We started watching football & support the Reds from the same day... ^^ He's the one that I keep contact the most since graduated... Perhaps Liverpool plays a big part in this, right bro? Haha!

I can still remember that there was a rule that girl must sit beside boy during standard 6... However, my class got 2 boys extra, and I was arranged to sit beside him!! =D Wonder why, prefer sitting with boy than girl last time, so stupid... >.<

After graduated from primary, I visited his house during almost all the long holidays... Playstation + football with his neighbours... Well, I have a conclusion now... It's football that link both of us strongly... Awesome! =D

There are 2 more people from this gang to be introduced actually... However, I've totally lost contact with them! >.< 杰隆 & 毅浩, where are you?!

Well... I can still remember that this gang was 'establish'ed during one of the assemblies during standard 5... We started by asking each other's birthday, and start calling each other 兄弟, haha! I eventually turned up to be the 二哥 in the gang, due to my birthday... XD

And one more thing we realised after that was there were many February babies in our class, it's something like: 21, 23, 24, 25... close dates together... I 21st, Yuen Hoe 23rd, Kar Kit 24th...

Talking about activities we had... We used to "kick bottles", haha! We were hardcore football fans but we got no money to buy ball, so we kick bottles... =P Most of the time we stayed as a team to challenge the others... We got our team called "Liverchester", as we got 3 Liverpool fans + 3 Manu fans... XD Don't laugh la, don't forget that we were only 12 years old!!

One of the most precious memories would be the Singapore trip after we're graduated... We sat together in bus, ate together, bathed together, slept together, do prank to people together, and... a lot more, haha!

During my time in this gang I was a rather bad guy actually... Speak vulgar words, bully the weaker ones, quarrel with teacher... However, the time being with you guys was definitely a fun one... Wish one day we can all gather and have a 6D gathering... =)

The Big Days

Birthday:

Had a superb night on 20th... Was with all my good friends @TGI Friday... Appreciate the surprise that you all gave me! As for 21st itself, became 财神 at Weiyi's parents' friend's house during gambling... XD

The staff at TGIF only allowed me to make one wish... =.=" Therefore, I'd made the same wish as last year... It'd been a wish for 3 years consecutively I guess? It's for my family, not what most of you are thinking...

Hmm, 20 years old already!

Uni started!

Seems like I was enjoying every moment that I had after A-Level, I've got no mood to study already... Therefore, I didn't have the exciting feeling to start school at all... =.="

Had orientation for 3 days, which was very long to me... I still remember that I had only one day of orientation at TARC, which was fruitful enough... Basically there are many talks on these 3 days... Luckily I had 6-7 friends with me together, if not I would die of boredom...

Well, there's disadvantage of having big group of friends too... Haha, it's because we would tend to encourage each other to skip programme! XD

Pesta registration is closing... Hardly make up my mind to go this time round, as I saw from the UniSA calendar that I'll be having study break + final exams in June...

Pesta will be taking half of my study break... Will the exam dates be adjusted?

Hi people! It's 2nd day of CNY, 年初二... =)

As some of you know, I was back to Kajang... No air-cond, no Internet! Only cards...

See! Even the children were also playing cards... XD

As usual, met a lot relatives today... About 100 people I guess? Therefore, quite a number of angpao I've got also, hehe...

One of the major activities today was gambling... Can't help it, seriously don't know what else I can do if I don't gamble... Was losing most of the time, luckily managed to win back some in the last 3 rounds which I gambled big... =P

I'm not addicted to gambling, seriously... =P

It had been years since I closely watch lion dance... @.@




Spotted 4 today opposite my grandma's house!! So I walked there...




Oh cheh, they were exchanging shift... Left these 2 to perform...

Spending TIme With You (My Blog)

Hi blog... XD

Well, it's 15 more minutes to 'Dai Nin Cho Yat' (大年初一), and I'm spending some time here to blog! TV programmes are rather boring & most friends of mine are back to hometown, with no internet connection! Muahahaha~

Yea, being evil, but I'm boring now without them... =.="

Long time I've not blog because I was lazy... For now, basically there are 2 major things I wish to report on... =)

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Firstly, I've found my next destination for education!! Yes...  I've registered to Taylor's University College... =) I was once very close to Nottingham University, but changed my mind in the end after receiving my A-Level result...

My result was 1A2B, couldn't bring me any scholarship in Nottingham (requirement: 2A1B), but 50% in Taylor's!! Therefore, I started seriously considered about Taylor's and eventually made up my mind... Very soon, I realised that I was not alone! Half of the 'Bitches & Beasts" and our faithful study group members: Chee Yen & Rui Hwai are there too!!

It's God's plan... Can you imagine that Nottingham had accepted my offer and everything, but I end up in Taylor's, with 50% scholarship?! Haha! I was shocked too...

Anyway, how fun can Taylor's be I don't know yet... What I know now is I'll definitely miss the people & environment at TARC...

Second thing I wished to report on is actually the Genting trip!

I wished to make a detailed report on that trip at first... However, by the time I'd got all the photos, I was lazy... =P

Anyway, let the memory be preserved in our mind... =) Well, the photos on Facebook made me laugh real hard every time I see... Very glad to be in this gang throughout my A-Level period... Although we are gonna be separated in future, the gang remains... Right?!

Someone's missing in the photo huh? Yea, the used-to-be leader of the gang- Hunt was missing... Not because he was the cameraman though... =/ He missed the trip, as he was dealing with some matters for him to go to Australia...

HE'S LEAVING ON NEXT WEDNESDAY! =(

He will be there to further his studies... So sudden! Gonna miss him seriously... This also mark that Hunt will be the first one to leave the rest of the gang... Anyway, he says he's gonna keep contact with me... I wish... haha!!

Most of my college mates went back to college to collect result slip today... Yet, I'm at home now, just too tired to do so... I was already very tired even before the camp starts...

Anyway, talking about the camp... It had never been like that, at least during the time I'm in BB... I would say the boys are really blessed to have a "team" like that to help them... Sad to see most of them didn't appreciate it... Perhaps, they didn't been thru it?

I still remember during "my time", we didn't have such a expensive "band instructors team" to actually make us march & play like a correct marching band do... This time round I hear the best musics from 1stKL...

I still remember during "my time", my officers used to sit under the shade of terrace, and looked at us marching rounds & rounds... This time round there are 6-7 officers come down to the field &walk with them...

I still remember during "my time", NCOs are the ones who check all the dressing & did all the shouting... This time round officers were the one who did them...

I still remember during "my time", officers = officers, they won't treat us like "brothers" and to the ultimate like letting you splashed and complained... This time round I even hearing complains about officers...

I still remember during "my time"...

It's endless... And I know clearly that saying these out might not be the best act of an officer, but if you are one of them and reading this, I hope you would have appreciate more of what you have now...

Yes, I didn't say these out during the camp, as sometimes I thought I'm not even good enough to comment about the band because during "my time", the quality was not that good before... However sometimes, it's not about how well you do it, it's also how you do it & the way you do it... After all, we are in the Boys' Brigade, an unique organisation with great purposes...

I gotta admit that I'm very very tired serving in BB at the moment... Mainly due to the treasury work & junior section... Please pray for me...
